Larsen SLC 1550 Flex is manufactured from a controlled blend of special sands, cements and synthetic polymers to give a high quality flooring product which is self-levelling and smoothing. For use in fast track domestic and commercial situations, such as, where levelling of up to 50mm is required or for use over underfloor heating and on more difficult substrates, e.g. timber. It does not provide a wearing finish but provides an ideal surface to recieive resilient floor finishes including: carpet, natural stone, ceramic tiles, vinyl, resin coatings, etc. It is ideal for offices, dwellings, schools, hospitals, airports, etc.

It improves deformability to meet the requirements of class S2 (highly deformable adhesive), according to EN 12004. On cementitious screeds, which are not subject to rising damp, but have a residual humidity content higher than the British Standards recommended 75% R.H. (BS8203) for laying resilient and wood flooring.
- It’s a one-component polyurethane primer which hardens due to the humidity present in the surrounding air and in the screed.
- Characterised by its short set to light foot traffic period and that it quickly loses tackiness, so that wood flooring may be laid after a very short time (after approximately 2 hours in normal. conditions of temperature and humidity).
- Does not contain solvents, is odourless and is non-flammable.
- Very low emission level of volatile organic compounds (EMICODE ECT Plus).
- Apply with brush or roller
- Consumption: 50m2 per 10kg (200g per m2) approx.
Owing tothe total absence of solvents and odour, Mapei Mapeproof 1K Turbo may also be used on sites which are located close to inhabited areas (such as flats, schools, offices, etc.).
