LIMITATIONS
- Do not use on damp surfaces: use EVERBUILD GUN A NAIL.
- Do not use as a mirror adhesive: use EVERBUILD STIXALL.
- Do not use on polystyrene/Styrofoam/expanded polyurethane – use EVERBUILD GUN A NAIL.
- Heavy materials (greater than 10 kg per sq metre) must be supported for at least 8-24 hours depending on size of item.
- Solvents present may attack sensitive plastics. If in doubt, test a small area first.
- Only suitable for overhead applications when used in conjunction with mechanical fixings.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The surfaces to be glued must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other contaminants. New concrete or plaster should be allowed adequate time to dry and mature. If this is not possible, use EVERBUILD GUN A NAIL.
Porous or friable surface should first be primed with dilute contact adhesive or PVA and allowed to dry.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
- All surfaces to be sealed must be sound, clean, dry and totally dust free.
- Cut the tip of the cartridge taking care not to damage the thread.
- Cut nozzle cleanly at an angle of 45 degree and pierce membrane. Apply using a standard sealant gun.
DIRECT BOND METHOD
Apply a 6 mm bead in a zigzag along the length of the item to be fixed. For panels, centre beads at 350 mm max. Press into place and apply an even pressure onto the entire surface. Leave to cure for 24-48 hours. For extremely heavy i
