Brit Aqua Membrane is a decoupling and tanking membrane to accommodate lateral movement for tiling installations on floors with limited movement when used as a system with Brit Adhesives cementitious tile adhesives.
Brit Aqua Membrane is easy to install, particulary for quick sealing and decoupling. The mat is resistant to weathering and alkali and is compatible for both internal and external flooring applications for ceramic, porcelain, slabs, natural stone and concrete pavers.
Can be used for domestic / commercial areas including balconies and terraces, bathrooms, kitchens, wet-rooms, showrooms, shopping and leisure centres etc. Brit Aqua Membrane is also recommended for heated / un-heated screeds and timber floors.
SPECIFICATIONS:
The Brit Aqua Tanking System is ideal for use in wet-zone areas such as wetrooms, bathrooms and showers, by creating an inpenetratable waterproof barrier for maximum protection. Suitable for use on all floors and walls and is compatable with the following base substrates; Plaster, Drywall, Timber, Plywood, Concrete, Brickwork, Cement Boards, Wedi Boards etc…
Aqua Tanking System Includes:
It is a ready mixed, flexible, seamless tanking membrane for the interior waterproofing of water sensitive wet-room walls and floors prior to the installation of ceramic and natural stone tiles.
Suitable for use in domestic and commercial situations. Stir well before use. Brit AquaSeal should be applied evenly to the substrate using either a wool roller or brush (the final thickness must be at least 1mm). Apply a second coat 90° to the first coat once the first coat has dried (usually 3 hours at temperature of +20°C).

The high durability of the boards allows them to easily reinforce the substrate base by preventing problems caused through warping and movement.
Cement Fibre Boards provide better stability than timber and plasterboard panel alternatives and are suitable for both interior and exterior use.
FEATURES
A highly rigid decoupling waterproof membrane that is resistant to rotting and is designed for tile and natural stone installations onto problematic substrates including standard floorboards, underfloor heating, gypsum floors, green screeds, metal surfaces, asphalt etc. Suitable for interior and exterior areas and works well in extremely damp conditions.
Application:
Apply a 4mm bed of flexible tile adhesive to the substrate. Ensure that the anchoring fleece is on the underside of the matting and is fully engaged in the adhesive providing a mechanical bond to the substrate and allow the adhesive to dry.

Brit Latex Additive is a cement mortar modifier to improve the physical and chemical properties of cementitious adhesives which it is mixed with. Enhances performance of tile adhesives by improving adhesion and flexural strength, abrasion resistant, impact strength, compressive and tensile strength. Compatible with most concrete and cementitious mixtures and has an optimum pot life with excellent adhesion to masonry, concrete and other porous substrates. Can be used in interior and exterior environments in both wet and dry conditions.
Should NOT be mixed with highly polymer modified (S2) cementitious adhesives and ready mixed products.
SPECIFICATIONS:
The Brit Mixing Bucket is a professional mixing bucket manufactured from virgin polypropylene material for maximum strength. It has a multitude of uses around the home, worksite and garden.
It is fitted with a strong wire handle and plastic carry grip and has excellent for industrial use, particulary for mixing adhesive, grouts, plaster, artex, paints and fillers.
A measuring gauge up to 16ltrs is printed on the side of this bucket, allowing for accurate measurements to be taken when mixing materials.

Brit-Prim Grip is a premium quality primer with adhesion-enhancing additives for use on non-absorbent and absorbent internal and external wall and floor surfaces, prior to the application of ceramic tiling systems. Brit-Prim Grip provides a rough keying surface allowing installation of ceramic and natural stone tiles onto pre-existing old wall and floor tiles.
Suitable substrates are, hydraulically bonding cements, lime cast, gypsum plaster, plaster boards, gypsum fibreboard, brickwork, aerated concrete, limestone, cement, anhydrite, magnesia and poured asphalt flooring, wooden floorboards, self-levelling compounds, natural stone, vitrified tiles, steel and glass.
SPECIFICATIONS:
A one sided, fleeced, self-adhesive tanking tape for the permanent sealing of elastic joints beneath tiles. Can be used for internal and external applications in wet based areas including showers, bathrooms and kitchens.
Application:
Cut the Butyl Sealing Tape to the required length and remove the silicone strip on the back before pressing firmly onto the surface provided. For maximum adhesion, the Butyl Sealing Tape must be correctly positioned the first time it is attached to the surface as additional corrections to the sealing tape will result in a weaker bond to the surface.
When applying the Butyl Tape, ensure there is a tape overlay of 5cm.
SPECIFICATIONS:
A liquid polymeric additive, BRIT SUPERFLEX is used as a substitute for water when mixing BRITFLEXI grouts, helping to improve grout adhesion and flexibility. Recommended for grouting projects in areas subject to movement such as facades, balconies & terraces. Also suitable for grouting on flexible wall and floor substrates (wood / plywood etc) and for repairing old or damaged grout.
SPECIFICATIONS:
A flexible, alkali resistant, nitrile waterproofing tape to be used in conjunction with Brit AquaSeal for sealing edges and expansion joints.
Cut the sealing tape to the required length and press onto the fresh Brit AquaSeal compound, which serves as the adhesive base. Ensure that there is a tape overlap of at least 5cm. Use a smoothing trowel to level out any uneven areas or distortions.
Apply two generous coats of Brit AquaSeal over the installed waterproofing tape, ensuring full coverage.

Must not be used on areas subject to frequent wetting. BRITGYP is suitable for both matted and piped underfloor heating. If the matted type is to be used then the heating element should be embedded in a layer of adhesive and allowed to set prior to fixing tiles.
