Application:
Apply a 4mm bed of flexible tile adhesive to the substrate. Ensure that the anchoring fleece is on the underside of the matting and is fully engaged in the adhesive providing a mechanical bond to the substrate and allow the adhesive to dry.

In conjunction with tile coverings, Schlüter-DITRA Matting provides waterproofing, vapour pressure equalisation for underside moisture and uncoupling for problematic substrates. The substrate must be level and load-bearing. DITRA Matting is installed in thin-bed tile adhesive that is suitable for the substrate, using a notched trowel (recommended size: 3 x 3 mm or 4 x 4 mm).
