Easy to apply, low maintenance self-shine satin finish film forming acrylic sealer. Enhances colour and texture, protects against staining and stubborn dirt, easy to maintain. Suitable for brick, concrete, paving and travertine, limestone, unpolished marble, sandstone, slate, terracotta, terrazzo. Suitable for interior applications only and not areas such as wet rooms and shower enclosures.

Ensure surface to be treated is completely clean, dry and free from dirt, grime, cement and grout. If necessary, first wash the surface with a dilute solution of ROCATEX Tile & Stone Renovator 1:10. Rinse well to remove residues and leave to dry (24 hours). Any retained moisture may cause the sealer to dry opaque or prevent the seal from reaching full hardness.
Rough cut, textured or riven surfaces: Use a sponge or paint brush, apply a thin coat evenly in one direction. Do not rub or buff. Allow to dry (1 hour). Apply until an evenly thin film is created (average number of coats is 3). For a higher sheen further coats should be applied at right angles to the previous (maximum coats that can be applied is 6). Honed and smooth surfaces: Apply using a J cloth saturated with the solution. Pour contents into a separate container. Dip cloth into the solution and wring out. Fold the cloth and apply a thin coat evenly to the surface without rubbing. Apply until an evenly thin film is created (average number of coats is 3). Allow to dry (1 hour). For a higher sheen further coats should be applied at right angles to the first (maximum coats that can be applied is 6).
Do not over apply as too many coats may cause unsightly build up and/or reduce the efficiency of the product. Hardens after about an hour but will take a further 71 hours to achieve full hardness and become fully water resistant. During this time DO NOT cover the surface and wipe up any spills immediately.
Avoid shaking the bottle prior to use. Frothing of liquid may lead to an inconsistent finish. Do not apply in direct sunlight or in temperatures exceeding 25°C. On highly porous surfaces it may be necessary to use ROCATEX Colour Enhancing Sealer as a pre-sealer in conjunction with this sealer. Do not apply if an underfloor heating system is on. Do not grout until 4 hours after applying the sealer. Tip: Without prior experience or in cases of doubt, try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use.
Higher porosity:
Per 1 litre approximately 10m2 per coat.
Lower porosity:
Per 1 litre approximately 20m2 per coat.
Polished floors:
Per 1 litre approximately 25m2 per coat.
Routinely sweep the floor and wash with ROCATEX Tile & Stone Cleaner. Clean walls and work surfaces with ROCATEX Tile & Stone Cleaner. Heavily used areas may become worn and require intense cleaning and you can use ROCATEX Tile & Stone Renovator (refer to data sheet) followed by a complete re-seal process.
Store in a cool, dry, frost free environment.
Keep out of reach of children.

After contact with skin, wash with soap and water.
Store in a frost proof place.
Avoid extremes of temperature.
Do not discharge into drains or watercourses.
Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local authority requirements.

BTP very helpful in supplying a pallet of floor leveller. I needed it on the Saturday, but didn’t want it sitting on the driveway for several days.
