Bostik Cempolatex Rapid 30 is a high strength, quick-drying floor levelling compound with a walk on time of just 30 minutes. It will smooth sound, uneven surfaces prior to the laying of decorative floor coverings. It is also suitable for use with underfloor heating.
Accepts loose lay floor coverings and bonded tiles from 45 minutes, accepts other bonded floor coverings from 3 hours.

Bostik Cempolatex Rapid 30 is a high strength, polymer modified, cementitious underlayment for smoothing uneven floors prior to laying decorative floor coverings. It can be laid over most common substrates including: cementitious screeds, concrete floors, calcium sulphate screeds and other strong, rigid subfloors.
It is protein-free so may be used in biologically sensitive installations. It should always be covered with a floor covering.
Suitable for use with warm water underfloor heating installations provided a maximum surface temperature of 27°C is not exceeded. The heating must be switched off at least 48 hours before and after application.

Bostik Cempolatex Rapid 30 should only be used on subfloors protected from moisture from the ground and residual construction moisture. Do not use prior to applying surface DPM’s. It is not recommended for use over old adhesive residues. Please contact Bostik technical services for the appropriate smoothing compound.

IMPORTANT: Before using Bostik Cempolatex Rapid 30, refer to the relevant Health & Safety Data Sheet, available at www.bostik.com/uk.
1. Ensure the subfloor is clean, sound, dry and free from laitance, cracks, structural defects and conforms to BS 8102: Code of Practice for protection of structures against water from the ground. Subfloors should be tested for residual construction moisture. For readings above 75% RH a suitable Bostik surface membrane must be used.
2. Any contaminants that may hinder adhesion, such as grease, dust, some curing compounds and adhesive residues must be completely removed.
3. In all cases the subfloor must be primed prior to application of the smoothing compound as shown in the table below. Follow the instructions of the specific primer container and technical data sheet for application and drying details.

8. Generally, a depth of 2mm to 10mm is permissible except for non-absorbent subfloors such as surface DPMs, which require a minimum of 3mm of Bostik Cempolatex Rapid 30 to ensure adequate absorbency for subsequent adhesives.

14. Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with warm, soapy water, whilst the product is still wet.
