Screed gives a smooth mix and is usually applied as a top covering finishing layer on internal floors or to level floors prior to the final floor covering, which could be carpet, LVT flooring (vinyl flooring), wood flooring, ceramic tiles, natural stone etc.
Screeds are mostly used for internal environments, for example, as covers for underfloor heating, acoustic insulation or thermal insulation. They are also used where a colourful or functional floor surface is required. In industrial environments and commercial locations they are often used where the surface has high traffic.

ARDEX PSRS is an epoxy resin that rapidly strengthens poorly compacted and low strength screeds that do not meet the required in-situ crushing resistance.
It’s manufactured from a controlled blend of special sands, cements and synthetic polymers to give a high-quality flooring product, which is self-levelling and smoothing. For use in fast track domestic and commercial situations, such as, where levelling of up to 25mm is required, or when finishes need to be applied quickly. It is ideal for offices, dwellings, schools, hospitals, airports, etc. and is suitable for use over underfloor heating. Larsen SLC 1550 Flex is manufactured from a controlled blend of special sands, cements and synthetic polymers to give a high quality flooring product which is self-levelling and smoothing. For use in fast track domestic and commercial situations, such as, where levelling of up to 50mm is required or for use over underfloor heating and on more difficult substrates, e.g. timber. Larsen Professional SLC 2500 External is a single pack, fast drying, hand or pump applied cement-based levelling topping designed to eliminate surface irregularities and smooth internal and external concrete surfaces exposed to industrial traffic. It is manufactured from a controlled blend of special sands, cements and synthetic polymers to give a high- quality flooring product which is self-levelling and smoothing, dimensionally stable and fast drying allowing vehicular traffic after 48 hours. Larsen Professional SLC 2500 is designed for application between 5 and 15 mm to provide an exterior wearing surface.

It gains strength quickly, permitting early access by following trades.
It is supplied in concentrated form and used in low dilution. It promotes rapid drying and early laying of floor coverings such as sheet vinyl, tiles and other non pervious floor coverings.
Drying of screeds incorporating RonaScreed FastDry Prompt is influenced by heat generated during curing, meaning drying of thicker screeds is faster per millimetre of screed thickness. Screeds installed at 50mm can accept moisture sensitive floor coverings after only 4 days, 75mm and 100mm screeds can accept the same coverings after only 6 days.
