Larsen Streetscape PS Priming Slurry Eco bonding mortar is specifically formulated to exceed the ≥2 MPa adhesion bond strength necessary for bound system B as set out in BS 7533 part 101 (Code of practice for the structural design of pavements using modular paving units) when measured in combination with Larsen Streetscape FBC Eco permeable bedding mortar & Larsen Streetscape FBC Eco bedding mortar.

Larsen Streetscape PS Eco is a bonding mortar specifically designed to meet or exceed the requirements of BS 7533. Manufactured from a controlled blend of aggregate, cement & GGBS it only requires the addition of water to produce a fully BS 7533 (code of practice for the structural design of pavements using modular paving units) compliant bonding mortar for bound surface construction.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
PREPARATION
The base should meet the requirements of BS 7533 dependent on the type and level of traffic. All bases should be suitable to receive the Larsen Streetscape PS Priming Slurry Eco bonding mortar as per current good working practices. All bases and paving units should be clean, thoroughly sound and free from oils, grease, dust, loose particles or any other contaminants which may interfere with adhesion. They should be pre-soaked but free from standing water.
MIXING
Add 6.5 L of water per 25 kg bag to achieve a thick creamy consistency. Mix with a suitable mechanical mixer for a minimum of 3 minutes. Please note, Larsen Streetscape PS Eco is designed to be used at a semi-fluid consistency at the above water ratio. If more water is added, the hardened properties of the product will be reduced. Do not attempt to remix or wet up Larsen PS Priming Slurry Eco which has gone off. Use within 1 hour.
APPLICATION
Larsen Streetscape PS Eco can be applied with a stiff brush or roller to the base and paving units. Paving units may also be dipped in PS Eco prior to placement on Larsen Streetscape FBC Eco permeable bedding mortar. PS Eco must always be fresh and wet during application and placement of bedding mortar and paving units.
Larsen Streetscape PS Priming Slurry Eco – RESTRICTIONS
In adverse weather conditions, paving should not be laid bonded or jointed if the temperature is below 3°C on a falling thermome- ter or 1oC on a rising thermometer. The base or paving should not be frozen before or during application of Larsen Priming Slurry PS Eco and fresh.

BTP very helpful in supplying a pallet of floor leveller. I needed it on the Saturday, but didn’t want it sitting on the driveway for several days.
