ATLAS ULTRAGRUNT Quick Drying Primer for critical substrates – extended information
Consumption: The average consumption is 0.3 kg of mass for 1 m2.
Characterised by excellent bonding to non–absorbable and perfectly smooth substrates – bonding to concrete min. 1.0 MPa.
Addition of selected quartz aggregate improves bonding of subsequent coats – owing to greater effective surface between substrate and applied mate- rial. Forms coarse surface beneath the subsequent coat.
Designed for use in higher temperature – recommended for indoor and out- door use at temperature from +5°C up to +35°C.
Quick drying – application of the next coat is possible just after 4 hours.

Priming
Substrate preparation
The substrate should be dry, free from dust, dirt, oils, grease and wax. Remove any loose, poorly bonded layers before the emulsion application. Terrazzo should be obligatorily degreased and free off pastes and impregnating sealers (if it was coated with them).
Mass preparation
Product is manufactured as a ready-to-use mass. It must not be mixed with other materials, thinned or thickened. Just before use, the mass should be mixed in order to unify its consistency.
Mass application
Apply uniform coat of mass upon prepared substrate with a roller or a paintbrush.
Application of finishing coats
Cladding fixing or floating can commence approx. 4 hours since ATLAS ULTRAGRUNT application. Application of self – leveling screeds (e.g. ATLAS SMS 15 or SMS 30) upon terrazzo can commence approx. 24 hours since ATLAS ULTRAGRUNT application.
