Cut the sealing tape to the required length and press onto the fresh Brit AquaSeal compound, which serves as the adhesive base. Ensure that there is a tape overlap of at least 5cm. Use a smoothing trowel to level out any uneven areas or distortions.
Apply two generous coats of Brit AquaSeal over the installed waterproofing tape, ensuring full coverage.

Aqua Waterproof Tape is intended for use in waterproofing applications for the sealing of corner joints in wet rooms, wet areas such as showers, bathrooms and kitchens etc, wall-to-wall and wall-to-floor joints, bridging joints, pipe and drain entries, expansion joints in precast panels. etc.

This will depend on the nature and form of the substrate and the sealing system to be used. All surface substrates should be free of any contaminates such as dirt, dust, oils, grease, etc before an acrylic priming agent such as BritPrimer or BritPrimer HD is used.
Apply a minimum 1mm layer of Brit AquaSeal compound using either a roller or brush to the area where, the Aqua Waterproof Tape will be applied. Cut the Aqua Waterproof Tape to the required length and apply fabric side down into the fresh Brit AquaSeal compound, which serves as the adhesive base. Use a smoothing trowel to level out any uneven areas or distortions. Apply two generous coats of Brit AquaSeal over the installed waterproofing tape, overlapping several mm across the edges to ensure full coverage.
For perfect sealing of corners use Aqua Waterproof pre-formed internal and external corners. For pipes and wastes, use the Aqua Waterproof collars and gaskets.
Aqua Waterproof Tape is a vapour and water-resistant rubber tape with fabric edging which is resistant to alkali, acids and salt solutions.
Aqua Waterproof Tape is elastic and deformable even at very low temperatures with excellent resistance to adverse weather conditions.
Aqua Waterproof Tape is also available in pre-formed internal and external corner sections along with gaskets and collars for pipes and wastes in bathrooms, showers, wetrooms, kitchens, etc.

BTP very helpful in supplying a pallet of floor leveller. I needed it on the Saturday, but didn’t want it sitting on the driveway for several days.
