Natural oil sealer for terracotta slate & dark stone
Palace Terracotta & Stone Sealer is a natural oil based treatments which has long been used as the traditional means of sealing and protecting rustic floors based using a linseed oil based composition applied to original Terracotta, Stone & Slate to protect from the ingress of moisture, damp and stain bearing deposits. This type of treatment may slightly darken the appearance of previously untreated, porous surfaces, but will provide a rich authentic satin lustre, intensifying the natural colours and shades unique to this type of traditional ceramic flooring.

Palace Terracotta & Stone Sealer extended information
Coverage: Depending on surface texture and porosity, one litre of PALACE TERRACOTTA & STONE SEALER will be sufficient to protect up to 40 square metres of Terracotta surface per 1 litre pack for a single coat application depending on surface absorptive properties.
Application Method
Ensure the surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free of all surface deposits. An application of PALACE ALL PURPOSE TILE CLEANER the day before may assist in achieving an ideal clean surface. Floors must be left to dry for at least 3 days and any under-floor heating switched off 24 hours prior to applying PALACE TERRACOTTA & STONE SEALER. Apply the product sparingly with a smooth roller or non-fibrous cloth working in one direction and allow it to soak in for about 5 – 10 minutes before wiping away any excess treatment with a cloth lightly soaked in PALACE WHITE SPIRIT. Highly porous surfaces may require a repeat treatment until no further uptake into the stone is observed. Drying time under ambient conditions will be about 3 to 4 hours. The final appearance should be a soft sheen finish and the surface will be open to foot traffic after 3 to 4 days.
Properties
PALACE TERRACOTTA & STONE SEALER is a traditional linseed oil-based treatment for the protection and enhancement of old stone tiles, quarry tiles and terracotta floors. It provides a water repellent, semi-sheen protective finish which deepens and enhances the colour intensity of natural stone and can be buffed and built up to a gloss finish where required.
