Consumption

The consumption of Mapei MapeGlitter varies according to the effect and finish required. 1-2 sachets when mixed with a 3kg unit of Kerapoxy Easy Design. 2-3 sachets when mixed with a 5kg unit of Flexcolor. At rates of 1% to 3% by weight when mixed with Mapelux Lucida, according to the finish and tone required, to obtain the desired sparkly finish.

Recommendations

Never use more than the recommended dose of Mapei MapeGlitter so that the workability of the product that it has been mixed with is not affected.
Do not use MapeGlitter in areas of constant immersion such as swimming pools and for external applications. When mixed with Mapei Kerapoxy Easy Design or Flexcolor do not use with tiles and mosaics that have either a soft glaze or high gloss finish as they may become scratched.

How to use

Mixed with Mapei Kerapoxy Design

Add MapeGlitter, at a variable ratio depending on the aesthetic effect desired (1 – 2 sachets per 3 kg of grout), to the drum of Kerapoxv Easy Desian mix after mixing the two components of Kerapoxy Easy Design (A+B). Create a hole in the mix obtained and pour MapeGlitter in it; cover it and manually mix with a trowel to initially blend in the glitter. Then mix with a low-speed mixer until an even blend is obtained. Apply the Mapei Kerapoxy Easy Design. / MapeGlitter blend within 45 minutes of mixing.

Mixed with Mapei Flexcolor

Decant Flexcolor into a clean mixing vessel, add 2-3 sachets of Mapei MapeGlitter and mix until an even blend is obtained.

Mixed with Mapelux Lucida

Add MapeGlitter directly to Mapelux Lucida wax (mixed with approximately 5% of water), according to the effect and finish required. Mix until an even blend is obtained.
