Use for
- Temporary protective coating of most tile surfaces including ceramics, marble, mosaics, natural stone tiles, terracotta and terrazzo.
- May be used with all BAL grouting products.

BAL Protective Sealer PRODUCT INFORMATION
Composition: Water-based polymer emulsion.
Pack size: 2.5L and 1L
Key Features
- Protects surface against discolouration when using pigmented grouts. Sealer is removed by washing-off process after grouting.
SURFACE PREPARATION
General
Ensure tile surfaces are clean, dry, sound and free from contamination.
APPLICATION/USAGE
Do NOT use in temperatures below 5°C or in damp conditions.
Usage procedure
Use undiluted, before grouting begins:
- Shake container well before use.
- Apply BAL PROTECTIVE SEALER with clean, colour-fat lint-free cloth.
- Rub well into the tile surface but avoid application to un-grouted joints.
- Allow 15 minutes for sealer to dry.
- Apply a second coat in the same way.
- Allow to dry for minimum 1 hour (depending on temperature).
- Apply BAL grout according to instruction on BAL TECHNICAL DATA SHEET.
- During washing-off process, BAL PROTECTIVE SEALER will be removed. Any residual sealer can be removed with clean water after grouting has set.
