For conventional screeds, the drying period required is about 28 days even today. Using the “quick-setting smoothing compounds”, top floor cover can be laid as soon as after one hour.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
ARDEX X 77 and ARDEX X 77 W contain a reducing agent to control the level of Chromium VI when mixed prior to use. ARDEX X 77 and ARDEX X 77 W must be stored in unopened packaging, clear of the ground in cool dry conditions and protected from excessive draught.
If stored correctly, as detailed above, and used within 12 months of the date shown on the packaging, the activity of the reducing agent (added to control the level of soluble Chromium VI) will be maintained and this product will contain, when mixed with water, no more than 0.0002% (2ppm) soluble Chromium VI of the total dry weight of the cement content of this product. ARDEX X 77 and ARDEX X 77 W must not be used after the end of the declared storage period.

ARDEX X 7 R is a rapid setting flexible tile adhesive that allows tiles to be grouted and trafficked just 2 hours after fixing.
- Walk on and grout tiles after 2 hours
- Semi-pourable consistency facilitates solid bed fixing and is ideal for large format floor tiles
- Water content can be adjusted to produce a slump-free mix for coving/skirting and wall tiles
- Can be used on plywood overlay
- ARDEX X 7 R W has an extended open time of 30 minutes
- Ideal for almost all tile types including non-moisture sensitive natural stone
- Suitable for wall and floor applications
- Suitable for internal and external areas, including swimming pools

Fibre Reinforced Moisture Tolerant Levelling and Smoothing Compound
ARDITEX CL PLUS+ is a two part levelling and smoothing compound with excellent flow and application properties. It’s moisture tolerant and suitable for use under a DPM. For levelling and smoothing internal subfloors such as concrete, cement / sand screeds, bitumen, adhesive residues and ceramic tiles. It is fibre reinforced for extra strength and flexibility.

- Apply direct to most substrates without priming, including old adhesive residues and bitumen, ARDEX Damp Proof Membranes and ceramic tiles
- Unaffected by moisture and can be used direct to damp concrete
- Walk on after 2 hours and install floor coverings in as little as 8 hours
- Feather edge to 10mm in one application
- No priming required on most floors, including adhesive residues, ARDEX Damp Proof Membranes and ceramic tiles
- Can be used on heated screeds
- Suitable for use on floors with underfloor heating

These unique properties ensure that ARDITEX NA can be used with confidence over almost all subfloors without priming, including ceramic tiles, bitumen and flooring grade plywood. Resilient floor coverings can be installed after just 4 hours and ceramic tiles in as little as 3 hours.
