ProJoint TITAN, like ProJoint Fusion, provides a fast and simple way to fill joints between setts and paving slabs in locations with both general foot activity and vehicular access.
It’s is an easy-to-use, high-strength two-part epoxy paving grout that works well with both natural stone and concrete pavers. The tub is pre-mixed with sand and resin; all that’s needed to initiate the chemical cure is the addition of the contained hardener. ProJoint TITAN provides a frost-resistant, weed-free joint that is resistant to pressure washing after it has set.

Ensure that the paving is still damp and the surface temperature is between 3°C and 25°C. Ensure the joints are prepared or cleaned out to a minimum depth of 25mm and a minimum joint width of 5mm. Paving must be firmly bedded and stable prior to filling joints and laid on bedding material suitable for the intended traffic loading, ProJoint Titan is suitable for both permeable and impermeable bedding mortars. Liberally wet the paving prior to mixing allowing the water to soak into the surface, blow any excess water that has collected within the joints out with a leaf blower. Remove the bottle of hardener from the tub, open carefully and empty the full bottle into the resin/ sand mix. Using a plasterers’ whisk, mix for 3 minutes until the mix becomes a free-flowing slurry. Ensure the paving is still wet (if not, lightly spray/mist again) ensure the surface temperature is between 3°C and 25°C. Do not allow the paving to dry out during application – care should be taken when using the product on dark paving in direct sunlight due to high surface temperatures.
Empty the ProJoint Titan grout mixture directly onto the paving. Move the grout using a squeegee over the paved area allowing the empty joints to fill completely. Leave for 5 to 15 minutes to allow the foaming in the slurry to disappear. Using a wet medium soft brush at 45° to joints, sweep off the excess sand leaving the paving clean. It’s really important to sweep the surface of the paving slabs or setts multiple times before the product cures, to ensure any remaining residue does not set on the paving surface. Do not add additional water to the surface at this time. The fluid nature of ProJoint Titan Epoxy Paving Grout means that no further compaction of the joint is required. A trowel or iron can be pulled across the joint to achieve a traditional – more compact joint to finish if necessary, once the mortar has begun to cure.
PROJOINT TITAN is not designed for porcelain paving – if you are planning on using porcelain paving, please refer to our PROJOINT RAPIDFLOW or GROUT.
