XPS Tile Backer Boards are manufactured using a high-density extruded polystyrene core with a polymer modified, glass fibre reinforced cement coating rigidity and strength. The polystyrene core acts as an insulator, making the boards ideal for use with underfloor heating systems by reducing heat loss.
The glass fibre reinforced coating creates a smooth, extremely durable surface to easily accommodate the application of cementitious tile adhesives. Brit XPS Tile Backer Boards are also suitable for exterior use. Additionally, XPS Tile Backer Boards are waterproof, offer dimensional stability (unlike plywood) and also provides excellent sound insulation.

BTP very helpful in supplying a pallet of floor leveller. I needed it on the Saturday, but didn’t want it sitting on the driveway for several days. I called and they recommended ordering for Thursday to give a day’s grace in case of any delivery issues. In the event the pallet arrived on Thursday as requested. Reliable and good value
