Coverage: Depending on surface texture and porosity, one litre of Impregnator will be sufficient to protect between 10 – 20 square metres of marble type smooth porous surface per 1 litre pack for a single coat application.

Application Method

Ensure the surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free of all surface deposits. An application of PALACE ALL PURPOSE TILE CLEANER the day before may assist in achieving an ideal clean surface. Floors must be left to dry for at least 3 days and any under-floor heating switched off 24 hours prior to applying the Impregnator solution. Apply the product neat with a smooth paint roller or non-fibrous sponge or cloth working in one direction and allowed to soak in for about 5 – 10 minutes before promptly wiping away any excess treatment with a dry cloth to ensure an even coat is achieved. Highly porous surfaces may require a repeat treatment 2 to 3 hours later. Drying time under ambient conditions will be about 3 to 4 hours. The final appearance should be a matt finish however where an excessive application has caused a sheen-finish to remain, but is not desired, wipe down with a cloth soaked in white spirit to remove excess treatment from the surface.

It’s a spirit based water & oil repellent treatment ideal for application onto marble, travertine, slate and natural stone where protection is required from stains caused by liquid absorption, but the appearance of the tile is to remain unaltered. This product is also ideal for protecting flagstone and paving from water ingress and can be used in both interior and exterior applications.
